Dr. Micah B. Engel, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who provides medication management integrated with psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. He earned his Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing from New York University and his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Touro University. His clinical training at Four Winds Hospital and Mosaic Mental Health shaped his expertise in treating autism, pediatric ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related disorders, and medication-related side effects.
His approach is grounded in understanding the whole person—not just the diagnosis. Patients often appreciate his calm, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental style, which creates a space where they feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. Treatment is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each person's unique goals, integrating medication, psychotherapy, and healthy lifestyle habits when appropriate. His goal is to help patients achieve not only symptom relief, but lasting emotional well-being and a more fulfilling life.
